Finance & Office Manager

2021.AI is looking for a sharp, energetic, and detail-oriented accounting manager. You will be the driving and executing force behind managing our bookkeeping, finances, and preparation of financial statements, as well as the daily operations of the office in Copenhagen.

You have strong knowledge and extensive practical experience with the Danish accounting system.
You are skilled at juggling multiple tasks and excell at prioritizing.

About the role

In close collaboration with our COO and external CFO, the role requires a structured yet flexible approach to tasks in a highly dynamic work environment. With significant responsibility from day one, the position calls for a mature and outgoing individual who can organize tasks effectively and has previous experience in accounting and finance. As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of financial tasks within the company and ensuring that all tasks are completed within deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

Invoicing and payments
Accounts receivable and payable management
Monthly financial reporting and management reporting
Payroll and salary calculation for employees
Updating budgets and forecasts, as well as ad hoc analyses
Bookkeeping in E-conomic
VAT reporting
Daily office operations

Skills & qualifications

Preferably a bachelor’s degree or other relevant education in accounting, finance, business, administration, or similar
Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience from similar positions
Fluent in Danish and good command of English, both written and spoken
Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Suite
Preferred prior experience with E-conomic and Danløn
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a flexible and agile mindset
A strong passion for finance and the scale-up scene within technology and AI
