2021.AI secures $2 million in new capital

The enterprise AI company will focus on fueling company growth and global distribution.

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK | SEPTEMBER | 2020

In a combination of new equity, an extended loan facility from The Danish Growth Fund, and grants from the Innovation Fund Denmark, 2021.AI is excited to announce $2 million in capital to support growth.

The capital will be used to grow marketing and sales functions aggressively. This is in an effort to accommodate the growing demand for 2021.AI’s unique approach to enterprise-wide AI implementation and Regulatory Excellence for AI.

2021.AI is now ready to scale to many more clients worldwide. The company already services clients on its GRACE AI Platform in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Japan, UAE, and the US.

“We are delighted to see growing interest in our GRACE platform and regulatory compliance solution from clients across the globe. We expect this demand to accelerate as many organizations are getting challenged with enterprise-wide AI implementations and the growing compliance burdens, guidelines and regulations for AI,” says CEO and Founder, Mikael Munck.

The new senior team to lead sales and marketing in support of 2021.AI’s global growth were announced in August and September, including COO and Partner, Martin Nørballe, CMO, Jon Meldgaard Christiansen, and Sales Director Bjørn Olesen. In August, 2021.AI also hired its first employee in the US, and will now establish local sales and support in several regions.

2021.AI will follow this funding round with a larger round in Q1 of 2021.
